Five steps to ILA 2028

Registration is conducted via the Exhibitor Portal, ILA's exhibitor platform. Begin without obligation: a binding contract is only established once you formally accept your stand placement offer.

The process

How registration works

From first click to your space: five clearly defined steps. This is how allocation worked in 2026 and how ILA 2028 starts.

Create an account and register

Create your user account in the Exhibitor Portal, ILA's exhibitor portal. Registration is non-binding and completed in moments. Important: some areas, such as creating and viewing stand applications, only unlock with a complete organisation profile, so it is best to add your details right at the start.

Go to the Exhibitor Portal

Complete the stand application

Enter stand size, hall preference and configuration directly in the portal. You can save the application as a draft at any time and finalise it later; only the binding submission starts the allocation. After submission you receive your confirmation and full access to all Exhibitor Portal functions.

Review and accept the placement proposal

Based on your details, the ILA team prepares a tailored stand placement proposal with a detailed cost breakdown and hall plan. Take your time to review it; the booking only becomes binding once you accept.

Add your team and co-exhibitors

After the binding submission of the stand application, invite co-exhibitors by email or enter them yourself; representatives with the administrator role handle additional services and further invitations. For technical reasons, co-exhibitors can only be added after this step, so plan accordingly.

Space fixed, invoice later

Invoicing only takes place with the final stand placement. Until then, the cost overview from your placement proposal serves as a reliable planning basis, for example for internal approvals and budgets.

Early booking offers double benefits: secure prime locations across the grounds alongside financial advantages. 765 exhibitors from 37 nations made ILA 2026 a record show.

  • Early bird discount: 5 percent off the stand rental for registrations by 31 March 2027, applied automatically in the calculation.
  • Start without obligation: Registering commits you to nothing; only accepting the placement proposal is binding.
  • Advice included: The sales team guides you from choosing your space to final placement, with online appointments on request.

Good to know

Frequent questions about registration

Is registration binding?
No. Initial registration in the Exhibitor Portal is free and non-binding. A legal commitment only occurs upon your explicit acceptance of the official placement offer.
What does participation cost?
Stand rental is calculated based on area type and size. Added to this are the mandatory ILA Media Package (850 €) and the AUMA fee (0.60 € per m²). The Stand Rental Calculator delivers an exact cost breakdown within a minute.
What does the early bird discount apply to?
The 5 percent applies to the stand rental for registrations by 31 March 2027, not to construction, surcharges, the AUMA fee or the Media Package.
When do I get my stand location?
After you register, the ILA team prepares your placement proposal with hall plan and cost overview. The invoice only follows during the final placement process.
