Systems developed by the aerospace industry form an integral part of security policy and also serve for safeguarding civil security should the need arise. For ILA, this sector has been a growing core field of competence for many years now.
 
For suppliers of aerial weapon systems, ILA is a unique forum for presenting their range of products including the demonstration of military high-performance aircraft. ILA offers a rare opportunity to directly compare such flying platforms. At ILA Berlin Air Show, much space is also given to the most modern developments in network centric warfare, to high-performance products such as space-based systems, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV, UCAV) and to highly capable equipment and components.
 
Maintenance, repair and enhancement of weapon systems are the topics of “MRO Military Europe”. The conference, which will be organized by the Aviation Week Group for the second time, particularly recommends itself to military and industrial experts as a first-class international networking event. Military airlift and military pilot training will also be among the subjects to be dealt with during the ILA conferences. To sum it up, ILA is one of the most important trade show platforms in Central Europe for the defense and security sector.
