According to Airbus’ latest forecasts, 22,700 new airliners worth US$ 2.6 billion will be needed over the next 20 years. The number of passenger and cargo aircraft is expected to more than double by 2025.

To suppliers of aircraft, engines, components and equipment, this development will open up perspectives that have been unknown so far, with competition, however, getting tighter at the same time. This also applies to the provision of maintenance, repair, spare part supply and other services. Most important in this context, however, is the fact that there will be a growing demand for new, even more environmental-friendly aircraft and technologies in the future.

As a pan-European marketing and technology forum, ILA Berlin Air Show is the ideal stage for the presentation of advanced products and for dialogue between manufacturers and airlines. In addition, ILA provides a neutral setting for networking industry, air transport, international organizations and politics.

Experience shows that the decisions, which major European airlines make on the purchase of aircraft and equipment, usually have a high signaling effect at the international level. Presentation of products and services at ILA Berlin Air Show thus gains additional significance.
